Quảng Nam requested to be model for revival of tourism

Vương Đình Huệ, the chairman of the National Assembly explained that he expects the central province of Quảng Nam, which is arranging Visit Việt Nam Year 2022, will turn into a model for growth and development and revival of tourism post pandemic.

On Wednesday, at the time of a working session with the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, Huệ suggested the central province to complete the infrastructure, environment and products related to tourism, gain knowledge from the experiences of important tourism centres and alter its state of mind to turn tourism into a leading economy generating industry.

Highlighting the call for Quảng Nam to stringently adhere to the resolutions of the National Assembly and guidance of the Government in planning, he urged the locality to evaluate its land use planning, and aim on stuffing existing industrial parks while building up new ones to draw businesses by keeping long term in mind.

In terms of the proposals of the province related to the public-private partnership investment form, investment capital, and financial and budget related issues, the NA Chairman entrusted the agencies of the legislature to assess the relevant legal provisions and put up an arrangement to modify and supplement them and make development of the locality easy.

Phan Việt Cường, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council, explained that after 25 years of the reinstatement of the province, Quảng Nam has relished an exceptional development.
