Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has reached a new milestone, surpassing 210 hotel signings and openings in 2025, underscoring its rapid growth and solidifying its position as one of the most expanding hotel brands globally. This achievement follows a successful 2024, as RHG continues to push forward with its development strategy across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (EMEA & APAC), while significantly expanding its portfolio of luxury and lifestyle brands.
RHG’s performance across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) has been particularly strong, with notable expansions in its key brands. Radisson Blu, one of the company’s flagship upper-upscale brands, saw new openings in key markets such as France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro, further cementing its presence in Europe’s most sought-after destinations.

Key highlights include the launch of the Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris and the opening of The Medlock at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, marking RHG’s commitment to large-scale, high-profile projects. Radisson Collection, the luxury lifestyle brand, also expanded significantly with the opening of properties like Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest and the reopening of Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin. Further, the collection added Cour des Loges Lyon and will debut Banke Opera Paris in 2026, positioning it as a major player in the European luxury hospitality market.
Radisson RED, known for its design-forward concept, continued its international growth, opening hotels in the UK, Romania, India, UAE, and Thailand. Additionally, the Radisson RED Oslo City Centre became the brand’s first Verified Net Zero Hotel, highlighting RHG’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region continues to be a critical growth engine for RHG, with impressive milestones in China and India. In 2025, RHG achieved a landmark year in China, with 130 new hotel openings and signings, pushing its development pipeline in the country close to 300 hotels. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson emerged as China’s fastest-growing midscale brand, now totaling 375 hotels nationwide.
India, another key market, also saw strong expansion, reaching 200 hotels, with over 130 operational and more than 70 under development. The group has now expanded into 47 new cities across India, working towards its goal of 500 hotels in the country by 2030. RHG’s expansion in India included new properties under Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, and Radisson Individuals, reinforcing the brand’s growing presence in South Asia.

RHG’s expansion also extended into new markets in Africa and the Middle East. In Africa, the group opened hotels in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe, while reinforcing its presence in Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria. The group’s goals include reaching 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 hotels in South Africa by 2030.
In the Middle East, RHG has expanded its footprint in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the growing religious tourism market, as well as in regional business hubs, solidifying its position in the area.
RHG’s growth strategy aligns with its long-term goal of becoming one of the world’s most prominent and sustainable hotel groups. The company’s diverse portfolio—spanning luxury, lifestyle, midscale, and extended-stay brands—positions Radisson to serve a broad range of market needs, from high-end luxury travelers to those seeking more budget-friendly options.
The expansion across urban centers, airport hubs, resort destinations, and emerging secondary cities demonstrates RHG’s confidence in the recovery and future growth of the global travel industry.
Sustainability remains at the heart of RHG’s development strategy. Across its global portfolio, Radisson continues to prioritize sustainable building practices, energy efficiency, and responsible travel initiatives. The brand’s Verified Net Zero properties, commitment to the circular economy, and green building certifications reflect its dedication to minimizing environmental impact.
Moreover, the expansion enhances the guest experience with modern amenities, digital-first services, and locally inspired interior designs, ensuring that Radisson properties continue to cater to the needs of both business and leisure travelers.
