In the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, Radisson Blu continues to reinforce its status as a leading upper-upscale hotel brand. Strategic openings and signings across France, Germany, Türkiye and Montenegro reflect targeted expansion in high-demand destinations. One of the most notable additions is a next-generation hospitality project in Manchester, redefining accommodation within major sports venues. Additionally, a flagship hotel at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is scheduled to begin operations this year, strengthening the Group’s presence at one of the world’s busiest travel hubs.
France has emerged as a major growth engine for the Group. The luxury lifestyle brand Radisson Collection has made significant inroads in the country with landmark properties in Lyon and Paris. The reopening of a signature hotel in Berlin and expansion into Hungary with a heritage-inspired luxury property overlooking Budapest’s Basilica signal the brand’s ongoing elevation in the premium hospitality segment. These properties enhance Radisson’s reputation for refined architecture, curated guest experiences and iconic design.
Radisson RED, the Group’s contemporary, art-inspired lifestyle brand, is gaining strong momentum globally. Openings and signings across the United Kingdom, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, India and Thailand highlight increasing demand for creative, locally immersive hotels. A major sustainability milestone was achieved with the opening of a flagship net-zero energy hotel in Oslo—one of the first of its kind in Europe. Upcoming openings in central London and Rome will further position Radisson RED among today’s trend-driving hotel concepts catering to modern urban travellers.
Introduced in 2020, Radisson Individuals has quickly become one of the Group’s most flexible and owner-friendly brands. Tailored for independent hotel owners seeking global distribution without compromising identity, the brand has surpassed 100 properties in operation and development. Its expansion stretches across France, Portugal, Germany, Malta and Kazakhstan, with additional signings secured in Spain, Poland, the United Kingdom, Türkiye, India, Greece and the Philippines. To strengthen market positioning, Radisson Individuals has been expanded into three new segments—Premier, Boutique and Retreats—offering different pathways to align with diverse property styles and guest demographics.

The core Radisson brand continues to evolve with a strong sustainability agenda and bold market entries. The Group introduced its first verified net-zero hotel in Manchester, setting a new benchmark for energy-efficient hospitality. The brand has successfully entered several emerging markets, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia and the holy city of Madinah in Saudi Arabia. In the United Kingdom, Radisson will become the anchor hotel partner of a major all-electric stadium development, reinforcing its innovation-first strategy. In the Asia-Pacific region, Radisson’s portfolio expanded further with new hotels in India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand.
With the global appetite for leisure travel reaching record levels, Radisson Hotel Group continues to expand its resort portfolio across coastal, island and nature-based destinations. The Group now operates more than 160 resort properties from Asia to Europe. Notable additions include new resorts in Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Montenegro, Egypt, Poland and the French Riviera. Signature openings this year include a five-star beachfront resort in Galle, Sri Lanka and a sophisticated wellness resort outside Jaipur, India—both part of the Radisson Collection brand. These resorts reflect a growing commitment to exceptional leisure experiences in both emerging and established markets.
Asia-Pacific remains one of the most powerful growth regions for Radisson. In China alone, the Group has signed and opened 130 hotels this year, pushing its development pipeline to nearly 300 properties. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson is currently the fastest-growing midscale hotel brand in the country, now operating 375 hotels. Growth is concentrated in high-potential cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing and Tianjin.
India continues to be a central pillar of the Group’s Asia strategy. Radisson has surpassed a major milestone of 200 hotels in the country, maintaining its status as the largest international hotel operator growing organically in India. With more than 130 operating hotels and over 70 under development, the Group is expanding rapidly into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Over the last 18 months alone, 59 new deals were secured, and development now spans 47 new destinations across India. Radisson aims to reach 500 hotels in the country by 2030.
In Africa, Radisson Hotel Group is targeting long-term market leadership by combining new market entries with deeper regional commitments. Recent milestones include openings in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon and Zimbabwe. Expansion continues across major economic hubs such as Morocco, South Africa and Nigeria. The Group has already outlined growth targets of 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 in South Africa by 2030, supported by strong investor interest and growing demand for branded accommodation across the continent.
Radisson Hotel Group’s performance this year signals a powerful transformation strategy driven by scalable growth, innovative hospitality concepts, and sustainability commitments. From lifestyle brands and resort development to net-zero properties and market-first projects, the Group is shaping the future of global travel by offering more choice, stronger experiences and broader access to hospitality across continents.
Backed by strong development activity and long-term regional investment, Radisson Hotel Group continues to position itself among the most influential hotel companies in the world—designed not just for today’s travellers, but for the future of global hospitality.
