Radisson Hotel Group to Open Two Hundred Ten New Hotels in 2025, Strengthening Its Presence in EMEA and APAC Markets

Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific (EMEA & APAC) – Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has now exceeded 210 Hotel signings and openings in 2025, further establishing itself as one of the most rapidly expanding global hotel brands. Having completed a remarkable 2024, RHG maintains focus on spearheading new advancements in the development strategy across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, which is accompanied by considerable growth in the company’s brand portfolio.

Major Growth in EMEA with Radisson Blu, Radisson Collection, and Radisson RED

Across EMEA, RHG reported strong performance across all segments, spearheaded by the continued expansion of Radisson Blu, recognized as one of the leading upper-upscale brands in the region. New Radisson Blu properties launched in France, Germany, Türkiye, and Montenegro, strengthening the brand’s footprint in key travel markets.

In France, Radisson Blu advanced its strategic growth with the development of the Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris and the opening of The Medlock at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, further reinforcing the group’s commitment to large-scale hospitality projects.

This expansion positions Radisson Collection as a major player in the European luxury hospitality sector.

Radisson RED, known for its design-forward concepts, continued its international expansion with new hotels in the UK, Romania, India, UAE, and Thailand. The group also opened the Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, certified as a Verified Net Zero Hotel, emphasizing the brand’s environmental objectives. New RED properties are under development in London and Rome.

Radisson Individuals surpassed 100 hotels in operation or development, with growth in France, Portugal, Germany, Malta, and Kazakhstan. The introduction of three new sub-brands—Premier, Boutique, and Retreats—now allows greater flexibility for property owners and more tailored experiences for travelers.

APAC Expansion Driven by Strong Growth in China and India

The Asia-Pacific region remains a key growth engine for RHG. In China, the group achieved a landmark year with 130 hotel openings and signings, bringing its development pipeline close to 300 hotels. The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson brand emerged as China’s fastest-growing midscale brand, now totaling 375 hotels nationwide.

In India, RHG reached a major milestone with 200 hotels, of which over 130 are operating and more than 70 are under development. The group expanded into 47 new cities, supporting its goal of 500 hotels in India by 2030. Growth in India included new Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, and Radisson Individuals properties, reinforcing the brand’s influence in South Asia’s booming travel market.

APAC also saw new Radisson openings in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, helping strengthen regional connections and increase travel capacity across leisure and business sectors.

Entering New Markets Across Africa and the Middle East

In Africa, RHG expanded into new markets including the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe, while further reinforcing its presence in Morocco, South Africa, and Nigeria. The group aims to reach 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 hotels in South Africa by 2030.

The Middle East saw expansions in destinations such as Madinah, Saudi Arabia, marking RHG’s growing interest in religious tourism and regional business travel hubs.
