The government of Rajasthan is all geared up to encourage tourism in this state in north India. In Rajasthan, new tourist places are being developed in this direction, and work is going on in identifying such sites in the state in full swing.
The state government is loyally working to endorse tourism and has adopted several measures and taken important decisions in this context. In addition to all these, the state government of Rajasthan is making its infrastructure facilities much better in and around tourism sites.
As per the plan, the official also explained that a study related to infrastructure gap will start for such destinations. Exclusive initiations will be made to recover road conditions and offer last-mile connectivity.
The state government this financial year has also taken a decision to spend almost Rs. 100 crores on the growth and expansion of infrastructure on religious sites in Rajasthan.
The official also confirmed that the efforts of the state government to give a major push to the sector can be measured from the fact that tourism was given the status of an industry few years back. This has caused increased investment in tourism.
Because the tourism-friendly policies and initiatives of state government, 206 new projects have been registered.
