Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and the FTI GROUP, which is one of the foremost outbound tour operators of Europe, have inked a new contract that prepares the way for introducingtwice a week flights from Munich to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport from the fourth phase of this year.
The contract, which was inked by Raki Phillips, the CEO of RAKTDA and Ralph Schiller, the CEO of the FTI GROUP ranked among the front-pagedeclarationsduringthe first day of the Arab Aviation Summit, which was held at Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Center in Ras Al Khaimah. The agreement willincrease air link between Ras Al Khaimah and Germanyconsiderably, which remains one of the topmost five visitor source markets for the emirate for several years.
Germany ranks among the world-wide tourism sector’s most significant outbound source markets and is predictable to provide nearly 118 million travelers every year by 2024, as per a recent report.
Raki Phillips, the CEO of RAKTDA said that this contract with the FTI GROUP is a significant milestone in Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism growthplan, since they are aiming to boost inbound movement from Germany, which is among their fastest-growing tourist source markets.
