Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas: Grand reveal of multimillion dollar renovation

On January 23rd, The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, joined The Ritz-Carlton’s global portfolio of over 110 hotels and resorts. With a 38-year legacy in Dallas, this property is currently undergoing a significant $55 million renovation, initiated after its acquisition in 2022 through a partnership between Trinity Investments and Partners Group. Situated in the picturesque Las Colinas hills, the hotel now presents a modern luxury experience, offering a welcoming sanctuary for guests.

Collaborating with renowned design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly, the initial phase of renovations has introduced notable improvements. Bar Juniper, a new lobby bar with a focus on clear spirits, has been introduced, featuring a meticulously curated design with feminine touches inspired by Texas flora. The 427 guest rooms have been revamped to capture the free-spirited essence reflective of the resort’s historical roots as the former Little Ranch on the Hills. Additionally, the property now includes new meeting spaces and state-of-the-art ballroom facilities spanning 80,000 square feet.

Tod Morrow, General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, expressed the commitment to deliver exceptional service in a unique destination. The hotel, ideally situated on 400 acres of a former family ranch just minutes from downtown Dallas, boasts two 18-hole golf courses and holds the prestigious Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certification. Adjacent to the resort, The Nelson Sports and Golf Club provides access to various recreational facilities, including outdoor tennis courts, racquetball, a top-notch fitness center, and diverse group exercise classes.

The property’s upcoming enhancements include the opening of Knife Italian, a restaurant concept by Michelin-starred chef John Tesar, and Campo Coffee & Provisions, offering a European-inspired espresso program and a curated selection of wines. The on-site salon and spa will transform into The Ritz-Carlton Spa®, and the resort pool is undergoing a comprehensive redesign for an enhanced guest experience.

Furthermore, The Ritz-Carlton Club® on the second floor is set to open in February 2024, providing guests seeking a personalized experience with modern Texas luxury. The club will offer five daily culinary presentations showcasing quintessential Texas flavors, along with exclusive cultural experiences and events available by invitation only.
