Riyadh Air partners with Adobe for digital travel experience

Today, Riyadh Air, together with Adobe, announced a pivotal technology collaboration. As the emerging premier airline of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Air will leverage extensive integration with various travel partners worldwide, enabling passengers to orchestrate their entire travel itinerary via its digital platforms. IBM Consulting, taking the lead as the systems integrator, will harness Adobe’s Experience Cloud technologies to forge a customized and seamless travel experience for Riyadh Air’s passengers. Set to launch its inaugural flight in 2025, Riyadh Air is on a mission to link Saudi Arabia with over 100 global destinations, aligning with the National Aviation Strategy and National Tourism Strategy’s goal of attracting 330 million visitors annually to the Kingdom by 2030.

Utilizing Adobe’s technology, Riyadh Air will provide a flawless, comprehensive travel experience for international and domestic travelers in Saudi Arabia. The Adobe Experience Cloud, featuring the Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP), will be instrumental in crafting highly personalized customer interactions. This platform will consolidate Riyadh Air’s direct customer data with partner information to assemble a comprehensive customer profile, prioritizing privacy and consent. With this consolidated view, Riyadh Air will deploy various applications and services within the Experience Cloud and Adobe Firefly, enhanced by generative AI and machine learning, to deliver customized experiences.

Furthermore, Riyadh Air will employ Adobe Sensei GenAI within the Adobe Experience Cloud for creating diverse, brand-aligned content to execute personalized marketing campaigns at scale. Leveraging real-time insights and interactions via the Adobe Experience Platform, Riyadh Air will provide timely, channel-optimized communications to passengers. These insights will also enable the airline to gauge the effectiveness of various experiences and content among its diverse, global clientele, ensuring consistently outstanding service.

Riyadh Air aspires to set benchmarks in sustainability and safety across its state-of-the-art fleet, contributing USD20 billion to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP and generating over 200,000 jobs globally.
