Omer Kaddouri the current president and chief executive of Rotana will be stepping down from the role at the end of 2018.
In January 2014 he took the role of president and chief executive of Rotana in January 2014. During his 20 years career with the company he held several senior management positions. This also included a five-year tenure as a chief operating officer.
He will be handing over the responsibility to Guy Hutchinson, the acting president and chief executive.
Hutchinson had joined Rotana as the chief operating officer in January 2014 and was leading the brand’s operations , was responsible for driving the quality standards along with financial performance.
Selim El Zyr, co-founder and vice chairman of Rotana said that Omer played an instrumental role in facilitating the company’s growth and expansion helping in building the team, laying the foundation for success.
After the announcement their focus will be to allow smooth and seamless transition to their guests, owners and colleagues with a constant strive to enhance the brand.
Kaddouri will be relocating to Amsterdam, the Netherlands to explore fresh avenues in developing and investing in restaurants and hospitality projects.
