Royal Air Maroc Shifts Casablanca to Moscow Operations to Sheremetyevo Airport with Daily Boeing 737-800 Service Effective January 28, 2025

Royal Air Maroc, a member of the oneworld alliance, has announced an operational change for its Casablanca–Moscow route. Starting January 28, 2025, and continuing through March 29, 2025, the airline will transition its Moscow operations from Domodedovo Airport (DME) to Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO). This adjustment reflects the airline’s ongoing efforts to optimize its network and improve connectivity for passengers traveling between Morocco and Russia.

The service will be operated daily using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, known for its efficiency and passenger comfort on medium-haul routes. The flight schedule is as follows:

• AT220: Departs Casablanca (CMN) at 22:55, arriving in Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) at 07:10 the following day.
• AT221: Departs Moscow Sheremetyevo (SVO) at 08:20, arriving in Casablanca (CMN) at 12:35 the same day.

The change to Sheremetyevo Airport, one of Moscow’s major aviation hubs, is expected to provide enhanced convenience for passengers, with access to better connectivity options and modern facilities. Sheremetyevo’s strategic location and advanced infrastructure make it a preferred choice for international travelers.

This adjustment is currently planned to remain in effect until March 29, 2025, corresponding to Casablanca departure dates. Passengers traveling after this period are advised to check for updates regarding future operational plans.
