Royal Caribbean International has unveiled its 2026-2027 cruise itineraries for Asia, offering travelers an array of new destinations and expanded voyages aboard the Spectrum of the Seas.
Departing from Shanghai and Hong Kong, these cruises range from two to nine nights, providing guests with opportunities to explore some of Asia’s most iconic locales, including Tokyo, Osaka, Mount Fuji, Okinawa, Nagoya, and Hakodate in Japan; Busan and Jeju in South Korea; as well as Da Nang and Hue in Vietnam.

Enhanced Itineraries and New Destinations
The upcoming season introduces first-ever eight-night adventures to Japan’s renowned Mount Fuji and the historic city of Nagoya.
Guests visiting Mount Fuji can explore the picturesque Five Lakes region, offering unparalleled views of Japan’s most iconic peak.
Shorter itineraries include visits to cultural hubs like Busan’s Gamcheon Culture Village, the tranquil hot springs of Kumamoto, and the scenic landscapes of Okinawa, often referred to as the “Hawaii of the East.”

The season also features special holiday sailings during Christmas and Thanksgiving, complete with themed entertainment, seasonal cuisine, and unique festivities.
Expanded Departures from Hong Kong
Starting November 2026, Royal Caribbean will enhance its presence in Hong Kong, offering a mix of voyages to top Asian destinations. These sailings include trips to Ishigaki and Okinawa in Japan, among other tropical and cultural hotspots.
Additionally, a new “cruise-to-nowhere” experience will be available, featuring world-class entertainment, premium dining, and stunning ocean views.
Spectrum of the Seas: A Ship Designed for Asia
Spectrum of the Seas, the first ship of the Quantum Ultra class, was specifically designed with the Asian market in mind. Launched in 2019, the ship measures 347.11 meters in length and accommodates up to 4,246 passengers, supported by a crew of approximately 1,550. The vessel boasts 18 decks and offers 2,137 cabins, providing a variety of accommodation options for guests.
