Royal Caribbean’s 2027-28 season introduces an exciting lineup of fresh routes to the Caribbean and Bahamas, offering travelers new ways to explore these sought-after destinations. This expanded offering includes visits to exclusive beach clubs in Nassau and Cozumel, alongside the highly anticipated Perfect Day Mexico, set to open in late 2027. These new itineraries promise to enhance the vacation experience by providing more options for adventure, relaxation, and immersive island experiences, making it easier than ever for cruisers to discover the best of the Caribbean.
These itineraries will depart from a variety of major ports, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Port Canaveral, and Tampa in Florida, as well as New Orleans in Louisiana and San Juan in Puerto Rico. For the first time in years, Royal Caribbean is returning to Latin America, with sailings from Cartagena, Colombia, and Colón, Panama.

The new itineraries are now available for booking on Royal Caribbean’s official website. Loyal Crown & Anchor Society members have early access to reservations ahead of the general booking release on December 10, 2025. Travelers can choose from a wide selection of cruises, ranging from three to nine nights, covering destinations in the Western, Eastern, and Southern Caribbean. Some of these itineraries include visits to the line’s exclusive Perfect Day at CocoCay private island, along with new beach club locations in Nassau and Cozumel. Another exciting addition is the upcoming Perfect Day Mexico, set to open in late 2027, which will further enhance the guest experience in the region.
One of the standout features of these new itineraries is the addition of Port Samaná in the Dominican Republic. This new destination will be part of the 2027-28 season’s lineup and marks Royal Caribbean’s expansion into new ports of call in the Caribbean. The port, located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, is expected to offer guests a fresh and unique experience, as part of the cruise line’s focus on exploring the beauty and culture of the region.

Year-Round Schedule:
The Allure of the Seas, after undergoing significant refurbishment in Europe, will begin offering six- and eight-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale in May 2027. Later in the year, in November 2027, the ship will reposition to Miami for seven-night sailings to various Caribbean destinations.
The Freedom of the Seas will offer a mix of four-, five-, seven-, and nine-night cruises from Port Miami starting in April 2027, providing a wide range of options for those looking to explore the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Additionally, the Adventure of the Seas will operate from Port Canaveral, with similar itineraries that include visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay, Nassau, and Cozumel.

Tampa’s Enchantment of the Seas will offer cruises to the Western Caribbean in five- and seven-night durations starting in April 2027, then transitioning to shorter four- and five-night itineraries to Mexico during the 2027-28 season. Meanwhile, the Grandeur of the Seas will offer weeklong cruises to the Southern Caribbean from San Juan during the summer of 2027 before transitioning to Latin America. During the winter season, it will operate weeklong cruises to the ABC Islands, departing from Colombia and Panama.
Winter 2027-28:
The winter season will also see the return of the Legend of the Seas to Fort Lauderdale, offering short cruises to the Bahamas starting in November 2027. Oasis of the Seas, another flagship vessel, will also sail from Port Everglades, providing short cruises to the Bahamas. Meanwhile, the Explorer of the Seas will offer six- to eight-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, visiting exciting destinations like Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Independence of the Seas will return to Miami in November 2027, with four- to eight-night cruises to the Western and Eastern Caribbean. This includes stops at popular destinations such as St. Thomas, Grand Cayman, and Nassau.
Two other ships will focus on the Western Caribbean during the 2027-28 season: the Brilliance of the Seas from Tampa and the Mariner of the Seas from New Orleans. Brilliance will offer seven-night cruises, while Mariner will operate six- to nine-night itineraries.
The Rhapsody of the Seas will take over the Southern Caribbean itineraries from Grandeur of the Seas, repositioning to Puerto Rico in November 2027.
Summer 2027:
The Jewel of the Seas will offer short cruises to the Bahamas, departing from Port Everglades from April to November 2027. These cruises will feature stops at Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, with the opportunity to visit the new Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island.
In addition to the newly announced itineraries, Royal Caribbean had previously confirmed year-round sailings for five other ships in the Caribbean, including the newly built Star of the Seas. The Icon of the Seas will also make its debut in Galveston in August 2027.
