Ryanair declared its busiest month ever in August. The Portuguese tourism minister declared the measure of the revival in the number of visitors and expenditure.


In August, Ryanair witnessed 18.9 million travelers. The daily normal was more than 600,000. The monthly count for Europe’s principal low-priced airline is four million further compared to the eventful prior to the pandemic month, which is August 2019, marking an increase of 27 per cent.


The figures would have been even greaterif there was not a let-down of UK air-traffic control on 28 August, which created atermination of more than 350 flights – upsetting 63,000 travelers.


The statistics were declaredwith Portugal’s tourism minister, NunoFazenda, disclosing the magnitude of the post-Covidrecovery for his country.


The tourism minister said that during the initial six months of this year, visitorfigureswent up by 10 per cent compared to 2019, with income from tourism increasing by 40 per cent.


Mr.Fazenda saidthat in July, there was an upsurge of overnight stays, hotel visitors and tourism incomes – which means that the initial seven months of this year are the top months concerning tourism in the historyof Portugal.
