Ryanair unveils exciting Balearic calendar for summer 2024

Ryanair, the leading airline in Spain, unveiled its summer 2024 schedule for the Balearic Islands on February 27, introducing 4 fresh destinations from Palma and Ibiza airports. As part of this summer’s plan, Ryanair will station an additional aircraft in Palma, bringing the total to 17 by summer 2024, representing a $100 million investment and generating over 30 new high-paying positions for pilots and cabin crew.

Here’s what Ryanair’s summer 2024 program looks like for Palma de Mallorca:

• Total of 16 stationed aircraft (one more than before).
• Investment of $1.6 billion.
• Introduction of 3 new routes (Exeter, London (L), and Zagreb).
• Offering 85 routes in total.
• Anticipated growth of 9%, welcoming 7.2 million passengers for the 2024 summer season.
• Over 5,800 job opportunities, including 480 direct positions for pilots, cabin crew, and engineers at Ryanair.

For Ibiza’s summer 2024 program, Ryanair presents:

• 1 stationed aircraft.
• $100 million investment.
• Addition of 1 new route (Porto).
• Offering 34 routes in total.
• Anticipated growth of 13%, serving 2.2 million passengers for the 2024 summer season.
• More than 1,700 job openings, including 30 direct positions for pilots, cabin crew, and engineers at Ryanair.

And for Menorca’s summer 2024 program:

• Offering 20 routes in total.
• Expected growth of 24%, accommodating 0.9 million passengers for the 2024 summer season.
• More than 700 job opportunities.
