Sandals Resorts International recently introduced new Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness with the aim of building trust with holidaymakers. The move arrives after the company prepares to welcome guests back to the Caribbean post being closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The latest program is built on the hotel’s already existing practices. It is designed to guarantee cleanliness standards amid changing consumer expectations in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Gordon Stewart, Chairman, Sandals Resorts said in a statement that cleanliness and safety have always been the brand’s number one priority.
He mentioned that the hotel’s outstanding team members, as well as the loyal guests, are all part of the Sandals family, and the company has always believed in taking care of its family. He said that the health and safety of visitors and employees will always be the company’s key focus. He informed that the company wants its guests to leave behind all worries in order to enjoy the luxury included holiday that Sandals offer.
He further added that the company is doing everything in power to offer peace of mind during a time that has been difficult for the entire world. He said that Sandals Resorts have continued to evolve our protocols to maintain an even safer, healthier stay and will do so in the future.
Sandals’ Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness will include several pre-emptive cleanliness measures that safeguard the guest’s journey from arrival to departure. It would include all additional health and well-being requirements across all points of contact at the resort. The new measures that have been introduced include in-room check-in, additional room sanitation, and temperature checks for staff.
