At the prestigious South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2024, international exhibitors took center stage, showcasing a wide array of tourism products and services, reinforcing the event’s status as a global nexus for the tourism industry. Held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, from February 22nd to 24th, this year’s theme, ‘Inclusive and Sustainable Tourism,’ drew participants from across the world, underscoring the event’s commitment to fostering a more responsible and accessible tourism sector.

The 31st edition of SATTE witnessed a remarkable assembly of international exhibitors, ranging from national tourism organizations, leading hotel chains, technology companies, to travel agencies, all eager to present their latest offerings and innovative solutions to the Indian market. These exhibitors represented a diverse spectrum of destinations, each bringing a unique blend of cultural, historical, and natural attractions, alongside cutting-edge travel technologies and services designed to enhance the traveler experience.

Prominent among the international participants were countries like Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Maldives, each showcasing their unique tourism propositions. Saudi Arabia, for instance, highlighted its vision 2030 goals to attract over 7.5 million Indian travelers by easing visa applications and enhancing connectivity. Thailand and Malaysia focused on their rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, and ecotourism initiatives, while the Maldives emphasized its luxury resorts and commitment to sustainable tourism practices.

The participation of these international exhibitors at SATTE 2024 not only reflects the growing importance of the Indian market in the global tourism landscape but also demonstrates the industry’s collective move towards more sustainable and inclusive travel options. Through interactive pavilions, engaging presentations, and strategic partnerships, the exhibitors offered a glimpse into the future of travel, marked by innovation, sustainability, and cross-cultural exchange.
