Emphasizing sustainability, responsible travel, inclusivity, and climate resilience, the event aims to strengthen partnerships with local and international associations, Destination Management Organisations, and regional bodies. This approach aligns with the industry’s needs and tourism goals, leveraging SATTE’s role in developing domestic, regional, inbound, and outbound tourism.

Celebrating over three decades of legacy, SATTE 2024 expects to draw unprecedented participation, with over 1500 exhibitors, 1000+ VIP delegates, and agents from more than 120 Indian cities. The event will focus on enhancing India’s inbound tourism market, showcasing Indian destinations, and featuring strategic initiatives like the ‘Atithi’ program in collaboration with the SEPC and the Ministry of Commerce & Industries. This initiative aims to position India as a top travel destination globally.

Pre-event activities have included outreach in Tier 1 and 2 cities, engaging industry influencers, and fostering networks through the Association Reach program. The introduction of ‘SATTE Travel Insight Podcasts’, ‘SATTE Connect’ roadshows, and ‘GenX 365 Click’ digital portal are part of the efforts to create buzz and facilitate business interactions. Moreover, the SATTE Global Sustainability feature focuses on skilling 50 students for the tourism sector, underscoring the importance of sustainable development.

Technology, particularly artificial intelligence, is envisioned to revolutionize the travel industry, offering personalized experiences and efficient service delivery. SATTE aims to harness this potential to enhance the travel experience while maintaining a focus on human-centric services.

To boost tourism from both domestic and international markets, SATTE 2024 plans to implement strategies that involve collaboration with governmental bodies, tourism boards, and global travel entities, aiming to position India as a premier global tourism destination. This includes extensive knowledge-sharing sessions and discussions on current tourism trends and opportunities, with the aim of driving transformative growth in India’s tourism sector.
