Seiji Kawajiri Presents DANDELION at NAKED FLOWERS in Hong Kong

Seiji Kawajiri, an innovative gallerist known for championing education and contemporary artistic trends, is delighted to introduce the latest exhibition featuring the globally acclaimed artwork “DANDELION” by artist Ryotaro Muramatsu, whom he proudly supports. This exceptional artwork will be showcased at the highly anticipated “NAKED FLOWERS Exhibition of Dancing Lights and Shadows: Hong Kong,” curated, directed, and produced by NAKED, INC., scheduled to take place at the esteemed venue “1881 Heritage” in Kowloon, Hong Kong, running from April 27 to October 27, 2024.

This international art endeavor, promoting unity and peace, has been displayed in 55 venues globally and is now making its debut in Hong Kong.

The genesis of the “DANDELION PROJECT” dates back to 2020, initiated by artist Ryotaro Muramatsu amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The project centers on the idea of planting interactive “DANDELION” sculptures worldwide, symbolizing blossoming digital art flowers representing peace. Kawajiri has been a steadfast supporter of this initiative since 2021, as it traversed cities such as Paris, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Kyoto, establishing connections across the globe.

The upcoming showcase of DANDELION in Hong Kong aligns with the imaginative vision of NAKED, INC., renowned for their experiential art events. Their “NAKED FLOWERS Exhibition of Dancing Lights and Shadows: Hong Kong” at 1881 Heritage, a cherished cultural center and leisure destination, aims to immerse visitors in an interactive journey with flowers. Through a blend of sculptures, dynamic visuals, interactive features, fragrant installations, and musical accompaniments throughout the venue, attendees can engage in a multisensory exploration, unlocking the mysteries of flowers and the natural world around us.
