Tokyo’s Sézanne clinched the coveted title of The Best Restaurant in Asia at the esteemed Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 awards, graciously sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna. The live ceremony, hosted in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, added to its grandeur.
Crafted through the discerning votes of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, comprising 318 influential experts encompassing food critics, chefs, restaurateurs, and culinary connoisseurs, this year’s list showcases culinary excellence from 19 cities, featuring eight new additions.
Under the skilled guidance of chef Daniel Calvert, Sézanne curates a tantalizing array of neo-French cuisine, seamlessly blending modern classics with the finesse of Japanese culinary craftsmanship. Nestled on the seventh floor of Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, the restaurant draws inspiration from the quaint town of Sézanne in France’s Champagne region.
