After the distressing landslide and cloudburst, now Shimla is slowly moving towards normal situation. This devastating situation has claimed lives of almost 70 people. Once again, tourists have started visiting this beautiful Indian hill state. The business units in HP related to tourism are hoping for a renewal of business which has been hit by severe floods and rain. Jagdeep Singh a visitor said that there is no panic now.
He is feeling quite thrilled to be Shimla. Also, the weather condition is pretty fine and the rain has stopped finally. Yet another tourist from Punjab stated that the weather in HP is well with infrequent rainfall. From Punjab, they are a total of 8 tourists in Shimla. It’s a superb place to visit, he added.
Yusuf, a tourist guide, said that in HP, he has spent 10 years and experienced many obstructions because of torrential rain and awful weather. At present, the weather has developed a lot and tourists have
started pouring into the city once again.
In the businesses, they have encountered huge losses and now he would like to spread the message that visitors should come to Shimla without any fear. From the UK, a foreign tourist said that the roads have reopened once again and authorities were quite helpful.
