Established in 2012, the Sofitel Mumbai BKC, a distinguished representative of Sofitel Hotels & Resorts in India, has masterfully fused refined French aesthetics, culinary delights, and design with India’s vibrant traditions, all showcased in a unique Art Nouveau framework. As we approach the end of 2023, the establishment celebrates a remarkable year marked by numerous commendations, spanning from overall hotel excellence to its individual dining and wellness facilities. This year has been particularly remarkable for the hotel, having secured a total of 17 distinguished awards.
Manish Dayya, the General Manager, expressed his joy and gratitude for the widespread recognition received by the hotel and its team from some of the most prestigious institutions in the hospitality sector. Among the 17 honors, the hotel was celebrated for its superior services and facilities, receiving titles like Travel + Leisure – India’s Best Awards 2023 for Best Business Luxury Hotel, and the Luxury Modern Hotel award for South West Asia at The 17th Annual World Luxury Hotel Awards. Its dining venues also gained significant acclaim, with Artisan, French Patisserie, Bar & Lounge being recognized in the Premium Dining – New & Noteworthy category at the Times Nightlife and Food Awards 2023, and Jyran being named the Best Indian Cuisine restaurant by Travel + Leisure’s Delicious Dining Awards. Furthermore, the hotel’s spa was awarded as the Luxury City Spa for South West Asia at the 13th Annual World Luxury Spa Awards.
