Solomon Airlines today confirmed passenger seats are available for sale onboard the airline’s next Tarawa to Brisbane service, currently scheduled to operate Monday 11 April 2022.
Subject to Government approvals, the incoming flight to Kiribati, Flight IE674 will depart earlier as a charter flight from Brisbane at 9.00am, operating via Nadi, Fiji, and arriving in Tarawa at 6.20pm.
Flight IE675 is then scheduled to depart Tarawa at 11.00am arriving in Brisbane at 2.00pm.
Solomon Airlines advises that this flight schedule is subject to change, and connecting flights can not be guaranteed until Government approvals are received.
Passengers intending to book must have a visa to enter Australia or a transit visa and another flight departure within 72 hours of arrival. Passengers who are transiting in Australia within 8 hours to another country, may not require a visa but will need to advise of the connecting flight at the time of booking.
The airline urges all transit passengers to check the Australian Government website to confirm if a transit visa is needed and to check with their connecting airline or country of final destination for all required testing and documentation, as this will be required upon check-in in Tarawa.
The Australian Government requires that all passengers entering Australia have Government-issued proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and a Digital Passenger Declaration completed within 72 hours prior to departure.
COVID-19 tests are not required for entry for departures from Kiribati.
All Solomon Airlines flights comply fully with the COVID-19 regulations of the relevant countries including all passengers being required to wear facemasks in all airports and for the full duration of the flight.
