Sorrento & Red Hill South grabbed medals at Top Tourism Town Awards

In an enormous win for their region, Sorrento and Red Hill South have grabbed gold and silver medals in their individual categories at 2023’s Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards.

This award is being managed by the Victoria Tourism Industry Council and is targeted to emphasize industrious tourism businesses that are locally based and the worth they bring to their communities and towns, and to commemorate the exceptional regional destinations dispersed all over Victoria.

The medal confirms that Sorrento and Red Hill South provides visitors and locals numerous options in terms of natural charm, dining experiences and housing, outdoor activities, and much more.

Now, Sorrento in the top small tourism town category will represent Victoria at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards. In the Top Tiny Tourism Town, the entry of Red Hill South was presented by Mornington
Peninsula Shire, as Sorrento’s entry in the category of Small Tourism Town was submitted by Sorrento Beachside Tourism.

Steve Holland, Mayor Council, said that their 2023’s silver and gold medals at the Victorian Top Tourism Town Awards are a major tribute toward the communities of Red Hill South and Sorrento and disclosed what locals have known for long time.
