Sourav Ganguly roped in as brand ambassador of Tripura Tourism

Sourav Ganguly, previous cricket skipper of India and earlier BCCI Chief has been chosen as the brand
ambassador for Tripura Tourism.

Ganguly voiced his inclination to become the brand ambassador for Tripura tourism after Sushanta
Chowdhury, the tourism minister of the state met the cricketer at his home in Kolkata.

Later, Chowdhury, along with by Ganguly and senior Tripura representatives, said that Daga has decided to accept their offer to function as the brand ambassador of Tripura tourism.

To take responsibility of his new mission, Ganguly is likely to visit Tripura during June end, after his return
from a foreign tour.

The minister said that this association targets to lift tourism in Tripura and take advantage of Ganguly’s
reputation and inspiration to entice visitors to the state from around India and the world.

Ganguly’s choice as the brand ambassador for Tripura tourism is predictable to attract substantial
responsiveness toward the state’s unknown tourist spots.

Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, who had previously spoken to the former world-class cricketer,
stated his sureness that Ganguly’s participation will significantly help the tourism segment.
