For the first time, a ship in TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff fleet will host an adults-only voyage, offering a unique 23-day journey for guests ages 18 and up. This exclusive cruise, designed to provide pure relaxation, will sail across the Indian Ocean aboard the Mein Schiff 6, a 2,534-guest vessel that entered service in 2017.
The voyage will depart from Cape Town, South Africa, on November 17, 2025, and arrive in Singapore on December 10, 2025. Guests will experience several consecutive days at sea, making it an ideal retreat for those seeking rest and rejuvenation. A standout feature on Mein Schiff 6 is its Spa & Meer, which offers multiple saunas, a zen garden, a mud bath, a sundeck for open-air massages, and spa balcony cabins with direct access to the facilities.

The cruise will visit several destinations, including Port Elizabeth and Cape Town in South Africa, Saint-Denis in Réunion, and Port Louis in Mauritius before heading to Colombo, Sri Lanka, on December 2, 2025. The ship will also stop in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, before concluding its journey in Singapore.
In addition to relaxation, Mein Schiff 6 offers several dining options, such as Hanami for Far Eastern dishes, Osteria for Italian cuisine, and two main dining rooms—Atlantik Klassik and Atlantik Mediterran—where guests can enjoy buffet-style breakfasts, lunches, and grand five-course dinners.
The fares for this adults-only retreat cruise start at 2,229 euros ($2,421 USD) for an inside stateroom.
Testing the Adults-Only Market: Is TUI Cruises Responding to Guest Demand?

TUI Cruises’ introduction of its first adults-only sailing could be a response to growing demand for vacation options without children, possibly driven by guest feedback or emerging industry trends. It might also serve as a pilot program to assess interest in this niche market.
Only a few cruise lines currently offer adults-only voyages. Viking, Virgin Voyages, and Saga Cruises are leaders in this sector, with age limits varying from 18 and older to 50 and up.
TUI Cruises operates seven ships in the Mein Schiff fleet, with the newest addition, Mein Schiff 7, entering service in June 2024. The line also has two new vessels under construction at Fincantieri Shipyard in Italy, with Mein Schiff Relax set to launch in spring 2025 and Mein Schiff Flow expected in 2026.
Other exciting voyages in 2025 include the “Mein Schiff Film Festival at Sea” on Mein Schiff 4 in October 2025, a culinary-focused cruise on Mein Schiff 5** in December 2025, and various music-themed cruises, including a 7-night ABBA tribute cruise in October 2025 aboard Mein Schiff 5 sailing the **Greek Islands.
TUI Cruises, a joint venture between TUI AG and Royal Caribbean Group, is headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, with each company holding a 50% stake.
