South African Airways (SAA) is delighted to unveil customer-focused updates to its flight and route schedule, designed to enhance convenience for passengers.

Following a thorough review of its Perth, Australia route, SAA has identified opportunities for improvement. Travelers departing from Perth can anticipate more favorable departure and arrival times, facilitating smoother domestic and regional connections and shorter travel durations. This adjustment also benefits passengers connecting from New Zealand and other Australian cities. Passengers departing from Perth will enjoy an overnight flight, ensuring a more restful journey, enabling them to embrace the authentic African hospitality feeling rejuvenated upon arrival.

Commencing with its inaugural flight on Sunday, April 28, 2024, flights from Johannesburg to Perth will depart at 20:55, reaching Perth at 12:20 the following day. Outbound schedules remain unchanged.

The first flight from Perth to Johannesburg on Monday, April 29, 2024, is rescheduled to depart at 23:50, reaching Johannesburg at 04:45 on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. These times are local for both Johannesburg and Perth.

Passengers with existing bookings for the earlier departure from Perth will be seamlessly transferred to the updated flight on the same day. Those requiring assistance due to potential inconveniences are encouraged to contact the SAA call center in Johannesburg at +27 11 978 1111 and in Perth at +61 2 9286 8960 for rebooking and ticket reissuing support.

“We are thrilled to introduce this enhancement to our flight schedule, which directly addresses feedback and preferences from our customers,” says SAA’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Tebogo Tsimane. “At SAA, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and a seamless travel experience to meet the needs of all our customers.”

Through these modifications to the Perth route, passengers can be confident that their input will persistently guide and impact the airline’s dedication to customer satisfaction.
