Today, Southwest Airlines Co. declared recent Leadership updates across all hierarchy of the Company. These alterations are operative from now on and represent a continuance of the work of the organizational structure that started in September 2022 and has continued this year as well.

To start with, Lori Winters has been promoted as Vice President from Managing Director Culture & Employee Experience. She will oversee strategies related to compensation, labor, retirement, benefits, travel, and perks of Southwest.

In 2006, Winters’ association with Southwest began as Customer Support & Services Strategy and Projects Director. Later, she established many new capabilities for the Company, like Employee Experience, Change Leadership, and Employee Insights, and during her tenure, she worked tirelessly on different significant projects.

As Managing Director, most recently, Winters headed the Employee Experience Strategy, Awards & Recognition, Employee Insights, and Culture & Engagement Teams. Winters holds a bachelor’s degree in education.

She completed her graduation from Baylor University and her post-graduate degree in communication studies which she completed from the University of North Texas. Now, Lori is stepping into the role held by Danny Collins, previously, who was the former Vice President Total Rewards.

Also, Jon Stephens has been promoted from the position of Managing Director to Vice President Fleet Management. For 24 years, Stephens has been with Southwest.
