Spirit Airlines, Florida, Philadelphia

Sometimes, backlash can come in different shapes and forms, even after providing quality service. This is what happened with Spirit Airlines. One of the staff took a little child and placed him on a flight different from the scheduled flight.

The little boy had departed from Philadelphia and was destined to arrive in Fort Myers in Fla. However, things took a different course when he did not arrive, and upon reporting, the news came out that he had landed in Orlando instead. It is about a three-hour drive from Fort Myers.

The identity of the child became clear before the media, as the news about this went viral. The young child was a 6-year-old boy named Caspar. He was traveling to Philadelphia to meet his grandmother, Maria Ramos.

Ramos was left in a state of fear when she learned about this. In a terror-stricken state, she told the media that Caspar was flying for the first time.

Smartly enough, Caspar called his grandmother from Orlando and let her know about his landing.

When Ramos asked the airlines about her grandson’s whereabouts, they couldn’t tell her. One of the flight attendants claimed that he had missed his flight. She was shaken off upon hearing this. Ramos told the airlines that he clearly could not have missed his flight as she had the check-in tag. Even Caspar was handed over to the flight attendant in Philadelphia. But the flight attendant denied it in an outright manner.

The airline had continually apologized admitting that there had been a mistake on their part.

With seating configurations ranging from 110 seats to 160 seats, all of which offer unparalleled levels of passenger comfort, the A319, one of Airbus’s shorter-fuselage single-aisle A320 aircraft families, provides remarkable flexibility.

An aircraft to Orlando (MCO) on December 21 had an unaccompanied child from Philadelphia (PHL) to Fort Myers (RSW) boarded inappropriately. Spirit Team members were always in charge of the youngster, and they acted quickly to get in touch with the family and make the necessary arrangements as soon as the airline realized there had been a mistake.
