JCB International Co., Ltd. (JCB) and Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) have signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) targeted toward increasing tourism in Saudi among JCB card associates worldwide. This agreement was signed on 15 th October this year and indicates an important landmark in association between the two bodies.

According to Alhasan Aldabbagh, the President of Asia Pacific Markets at Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), they are excited to collaborate with JCB International, an international frontrunner in payment and know-how.

This is a wonderful prospect for their tourism sector, as it will deliver more suitability, understanding and safety for Japanese visitors and other Asian travelers who
wish to make use of cashless payment procedures. He said that they consider that this partnership will improve the charm of Saudi as a place for global tourists and back their visualization of becoming a primary worldwide tourism center.

This collaboration with JCB is expected to reveal numerous prospects for collaboration between Saudi and Japan. Particularly, Japan is among the 57 nations entitled for Saudi’s e-visa and visa on arrival, with distinctive profits like a free one-night hotel stopover for visitors flying forward on SAUDIA inclusive of Saudi’s 96-hour Stopover Visa plan.

Other important creativities comprise VisitSaudi.ja portal in Japanese and combined marketing promotions with important travel trade associates to build enthusiasm throughout the year.
