StatusPRO using real player data for genuine extended reality experiences

StatusPRO, Inc., which is a sports technology and gaming business making use of actual player statistics to build genuine extended reality experiences, has declared $20 million in new subsidy, one of the biggest Series A of any VR gaming firm so far, managed by GV (Google Ventures).

StatusPRO is linking to GV’s investment range of effective tech, healthcare and consumer businesses, emphasizing its place as a conspicuous and increasing VR firm in the space. Following two years of laying groundwork in the sports gaming segment and creating a new category, real-life sports, StatusPRO will be using the extra resources to widen expansion into new sports titles while carrying on to improve its styles and types and further advance its pioneering technology.

StatusPRO was initiated and advanced by two earlier football players, Troy Jones and Andrew ‘Hawk’ Hawkins, on the foundation that the way trainers, players and devotees experience their beloved sports could be heightened to a new level through XR technology.
