STB nominates Lim Kean Bon as Area Director

The Singapore Tourism Board recently declared the selection of Lim Kean Bon as Area Director, for South Asia, India, and Africa. This selection was done on September 1 st . As the India market lead, he will succeed Raymond Lim in New Delhi, heading the promotion of STB, and activities related to travel trade engagement in Northern and Eastern India to sustain and develop empathy for Singapore from leisure travelers. Besides, Kean Bon will be entrusted for developing business efforts to get visitorship all over India to Singapore in the MICE travel segments. Also, he will head his team in consumer engagement in various regional markets like South Africa and Bangladesh.  

Mr. GB Srithar, while speaking on this appointment for Singapore Tourism Board, who is the Regional Director, Middle East, India, South Asia & Africa, said, that they extend a whole-hearted welcome to Kean Bon as he becomes a part of their dynamic team. He said that he believes that the leadership of Kean Bon in driving experience development for a leisure sector and his erstwhile experience in the Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau positions him in comfortable position to take on the responsibility in STB New Delhi, mainly in this crucial moment.
