The upcoming launch of Sushi by Boū at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens on December 15 promises a reinvented omakase experience, drawing inspiration from modern speakeasy vibes. Following successful openings in West Palm Beach in May and Boca Raton in September, the 1920s speakeasy opulence of Sushi by Boū PGA National will be unveiled at a 12-seat bar, boasting a bespoke and uniquely designed ambiance.

Erika London and Chef David Bouhadana, both residents of Palm Beach County, are the visionary partners behind Sushi by Boū. The PGA National location will feature a distinct aesthetic with rich color palettes, patterned wallpaper, fringed lamps, feathered pampas, and crystal chandeliers creating a luxurious and immersive atmosphere. The 12-seat sushi bar, adorned in deep blue tones with crystal chandeliers and a bejeweled fish centerpiece, adds to the allure. Sweetheart lounges with plush velvet chairs flank the bar, providing an intimate setting for sipping craft cocktails.

As part of the simplevenue portfolio, Sushi by Boū PGA National marks the 16th location nationally and the 21st in total, including sister brands such as Sushi Suite, Omakaseed, Fins and Scales, and Trust Bae across New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and South Florida since its inception in 2017. The hospitality group, simplevenue, led by Michael Sinensky and Erika London alongside hospitality expert Richie Romero, has seen significant expansion in 2023, with the Palm Beach Gardens opening being their 10th this year.

Sushi by Boū’s omakase experience, guided by seasoned sushi chefs, invites guests to relax and let the chef curate their menu and libations during the hour-long culinary journey. Pricing options include $60 for the 12-course omakase and $125 for the “Bougie” upgrade, featuring 17 courses with five additional seasonal offerings.

The menu showcases delicacies such as Hamachi (yellowtail), Botan Ebi (spotted prawn), Ikura (salmon roe), Hotate (scallop), O-Toro (fatty tuna), Unagi (bbq eel), and the Signature Wagyuni (surf and turf). Hand rolls, sushi favorites, and à la carte specialties crafted from the freshest, highest quality locally and globally sourced fish are available upon request. To sweeten the experience, seasonal mochi ice cream is offered for dessert.

Located at 400 Avenue of the Champions, Sushi by Boū PGA National will operate from Tuesday to Sunday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Reservations can be made at sushibybou.com or through OpenTable. The launch at PGA National Resort is eagerly anticipated, adding to the culinary allure of the iconic destination, known not only for golf and recreation but also for its exceptional dining offerings.
