Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is set to reinstate its passenger flights to Tel Aviv. Following a comprehensive review, SWISS has determined that it can ensure the safety of its flight operations. The first of these flights is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16.
We are vigilantly observing the evolving situation and will adjust our flight schedule promptly if circumstances warrant.
Ensuring the safety of our passengers and staff is our utmost concern. Our decisions regarding flight operations are guided by this principle. Additionally, we maintain continuous communication with our on-site staff to provide support as needed. We have also sought advice from experts across the Lufthansa Group and are aligning with several other airlines that have already restarted their operations.
Please note that our flights to and from Beirut are postponed until Thursday, April 18, including the previously planned flight on Tuesday, April 16. Our routes will also bypass Iranian airspace until then.
We continue to closely monitor developments in the Middle East, with our experts assessing all pertinent information and coordinating with Swiss and local authorities.
