Swiss Tourism honors Neeraj Chopra

Switzerland Tourism congratulated Neeraj Chopra, who is their ‘Friendship Ambassador’ Olympic and World champion javelin thrower, for his outstanding achievements.

In history, Chopra, the 25-year-old performer, became the third javelin thrower. He grabbed both the Olympic and World Championships crowns after gaining the worlds title last month in Budapest with a throw of 88.17m.

The Head of global partnerships at Switzerland Tourism, Pascal Prinz, said that they are truly honored and happy to observe sports legend of India, Neeraj Chopra. Neeraj is preparing the way and inspires an entire generation with his achievement. He said that for them at Switzerland Tourism, everyone is extremely happy with their association with Neeraj as their ‘Friendship Ambassador’ in India.

They enthusiastically acknowledge him on his world championship and wishes him the very best for his future endeavors.

Chopra has been relishing the sporty, adventurous, and picturesque outdoors of Switzerland. He shared his experiences by indulging in sports like canyon jumping, skydiving, and jetboating in Interlaken,
followed by helicopter tour over the Zermatt landscape.
