AirAsia X has implemented a five percent fare reduction under a newly introduced weekly pricing strategy, responding directly to easing geopolitical tensions following the US–Iran peace breakthrough, which has helped lower global jet fuel costs and stabilise aviation operating conditions. The move reflects a broader shift in airline pricing behaviour, where fares are now being adjusted more dynamically in line with fuel price movements, demand recovery, and cost volatility, supporting increased travel affordability and encouraging further expansion in international tourism demand.
