Taiwan tourism school boosts Canadian travel trade

As part of its efforts to boost the knowledge of travel agencies throughout Canada regarding the diverse and captivating travel opportunities in Taiwan, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has introduced the online Taiwan Tourism School. This e-learning platform has been specifically tailored to familiarize Canadian travel industry experts with the unique allure of Taiwan as a top-tier tourist destination.

The inaugural course, titled “Taiwan Tourism 101,” is now accessible and serves as an essential introductory program for travel agencies looking to expand their horizons and deepen their appreciation of Taiwan. Covering a wide spectrum of subjects, it offers a comprehensive educational experience, encompassing the following key areas:

1. Introduction to Taiwan: Gain insights into Taiwan’s geography, culture, and its people.
2. Tourist Attractions and Activities: Explore both the well-known and hidden gems that Taiwan has to offer.
3. Transportation: Discover the convenience of traveling throughout Taiwan.
4. Cuisine: Immerse yourself in the world of fresh, delectable, and budget-friendly Taiwanese food.

Travel industry professionals throughout Canada are encouraged to enroll and commence their exploration of Taiwan’s tourism offerings. Incentives are also available for the initial 20 Canadian travel industry professionals who complete the course, as well as for the initial 20 companies that subsequently promote and sell more travel packages to Taiwan for Canadian travelers.
