In a bid to strengthen the bond between Canadian travelers and Taiwan’s vibrant culture, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) is thrilled to announce the launch of its year-long “Show Me Taiwan!” campaign in Canada. Commencing today, the initiative extends an open invitation to Canadian adventurers and culture enthusiasts to delve into the heart of Asia, experiencing Taiwan in a way that transcends traditional tourism.

“Show Me Taiwan!” encourages travelers to immerse themselves in the unique tapestry that defines Taiwan as a must-visit destination. Tailored to the curiosity and adventurous spirit of Canadians, the campaign invites participants on a journey into Taiwan’s rich culture, exquisite cuisine, profound history, and breathtaking landscapes.

To kickstart this exciting campaign, the TTA invites Canadian travelers to attend activation events during the holiday season:

Experience Taiwanese hospitality, engage in interactive activities, and earn free gifts while gaining insightful information from travel partners.

This campaign represents a significant milestone following the September upgrade and rebranding of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau to the Taiwan Tourism Administration. Empowered to set tourism promotion policies, the TTA, under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC) supervision, is committed to renewing interest in travel to Taiwan.

TTA has initiated various programs to boost tourism, including free half-day tours for layover passengers and the “Taiwan the Lucky Land” scheme, offering the chance to win NT$5,000 (approximately CA$215) for travelers arriving in Taiwan.
