Territory supporting sustainable tourism practices

At this moment, a new online toolkit can be accessed by the territory tourism operators that would assist them in adopting sustainable business practices.

This week, Tourism NT introduced the online sustainable tourism toolkit, providing acute information, useful thoughts and solutions for operators interested to take more sustainable move to business.

Operators can now make access to information on official approval, regulations and the way to build up their own sustainability policy. Tourism NT’s Valerie Smith stated that the interactive and in detail online
resource is a primary for the Territory and for the operators, it’s a chance to change and get their business practices better.

Taking on a more sustainable approach is very important for the businesses related to tourism in the Territory. It provides a chance to perk up their bottom line while caring for the NT environment, community, and offering a genuine and optimistic visitor experience.

To the operators, the tool kit provides information and tools to allow them to take dynamic measures to the length of the sustainability path, helping to future-proof their business and defend and bond with the places they explore and the people they meet.
