Texas hotel the Omni Las Colinas Hotel, formerly the Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas happily announces its completion of the $13 million renovation work, including, The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge—a new resort-style poolscape and lounge area along with introduction of the three new dining concepts: LRH Restaurant & Bar, Flossie’s and Over the Counter.
Nydia Hoskins, general manager of the property opined that since it was essential to celebrate nature and natural surroundings that perfects leisure moments with family, ideally reflects the spirit of Las Colinas. And are happy to host several visitors all-round the year. This is how they celebrate the true spirit of Las Colinas in true colour and flavour with the hotel guests.
The Lakehouse Waterfront Lounge at the Omni Las Colinas hotel will be the new destination for aqua lovers. The lounge space includes a striking blend of bar seating and poolside dining, three fire pits, multiple TVs and fans to keep guests cool. Inspired by the modern Texas’s pulse the new poolscape has a resort-style pool with 161 chaise lounge chairs, views of Lake Carolyn, daybeds, private cabanas, a “secret garden,” multiple yard games and tree swings.
The new lobby bar and restaurant is the key attraction for the guests entering the hotel. Designed in latest style and attractive elements of brass mixed with a palate of neutral tones. The lounge space is separated with an antique mirror.
The restaurant that initially served breakfast could be transformed into various private events throughout the day. The design of the space was inspired by Texas culture, incorporating earth tones for a calming environment.
