Textron Aviation and PT Smart Aviation partner for Cessna SkyCourier deal in Indonesia

Textron Aviation and PT Smart Aviation recently marked a significant milestone with the signing of a purchase agreement for the first Cessna SkyCourier order in Indonesia. Alongside the SkyCourier passenger variant, the agreement includes four Cessna Grand Caravan EXs, scheduled for delivery starting in 2026. The deal was commemorated at the Textron Aviation exhibit during the Singapore Airshow held at the Changi Exhibition Center in the Republic of Singapore.

This acquisition not only signifies PT Smart Aviation’s expansion but also underscores their commitment to enhancing capabilities in weather modification, cargo, and passenger flights. Manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT), the Cessna SkyCourier is poised to play a pivotal role in PT Smart’s operations.
