Strategic Launch at MLTM 2025 in Kuwait

The MLTM 2025 provided the perfect launch pad. The trade meet opened in Kuwait City on November 24, 2025. This roadshow served as a crucial strategic platform. It introduced Thailand’s renewed tourism focus. The event cemented deeper engagement with key GCC markets.

The trade meet was a strong success. It was held in partnership with Gulf Air. The Kuwait edition brought together key industry players. It saw 18 Thai luxury sellers participate. They met with more than 70 Kuwaiti buyers. They held free-flow business-matching sessions. Market briefings and networking activities were also provided. This program supports TAT’s main goals. It strengthens existing partnerships. It co-develops exciting new travel products. It expands opportunities for high-value tourism growth.

The MLTM roadshow has seen significant growth. It debuted in Doha in 2023. It expanded to Dubai and Doha in 2024. The 2025 edition now includes two cities. These are Kuwait and Manama, Bahrain. The Bahrain leg followed soon after the Kuwait event. It took place on November 26.

Kuwait: A High-Value Growth Market

The Kuwait market continues to be a top performer. Thailand saw strong results in 2024. Arrivals reached 90,949 visitors. This was an impressive 15 percent increase. It generated 9.67 billion Baht in revenue. This revenue rose around 36 percent year-on-year. The data shows remarkable growth potential.

Kuwaiti travelers have specific preferences. They appreciate privacy and comfort greatly. Wellness facilities are very important to them. They seek family-friendly accommodations. Personalized service is also highly valued. Many choose five-star hotels or private villas. These often include halal-certified kitchens. Prayer rooms and Arabic-speaking service are also favored.

Kuwaitis also value Thailand’s medical services. The country has internationally accredited hospitals. Many provide Arabic-speaking staff. This strong support drives demand. Beach destinations with women-only facilities are popular. Private sea access is often requested.

Connectivity also supports this strong demand. Kuwait Airways operates direct flights to Bangkok. They offer seven flights per week in summer. They increase this to eleven per week in winter. This enables strong year-round travel potential. Thailand welcomed about 80,794 Kuwaiti visitors through November 24, 2025. The year-end target is 90,000 visitors. This is projected to generate about 7.15 billion Baht.

Expanding Horizons: TAT’s Middle East Push

TAT maintains a highly active presence in the region. They are using key marketing initiatives. These efforts promote the new campaign widely. The annual MLTM is a core component. The team will attend the Qatar Travel Mart 2025 in Doha. They welcomed AirArabia’s inaugural Sharjah–Krabi flight. This happened on November 28, 2025.

Digital engagement is also a major focus. The TAT–Expedia Joint Digital Campaign 2025 is ongoing. A joint sales promotion is running too. This is with dnata travel group. It covers the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. This promotion runs until March 2026.

A high-profile event is scheduled for December. The Amazing Thailand Networking Dinner 2025 will be in Riyadh. This major event is set for December 2, 2025.
