Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) spoke about Thailand’s significant travel course for more sustainable, more wide-ranging and more environment-friendly tourism at the APEC CEO Summit this year.

Mr. Yuthasak said that TAT is privileged to get the chance to share its promise to uphold responsible and sustainable tourism at the APEC CEO Summit, which is thought to be the most powerful conference of business and government frontrunners in the Asia-Pacific region.

Mr. Yuthasak highlighted the fact that Thailand is looking toward international tourism with open arms, with an aim to provide new interesting travel experiences for visitors.

TAT is advancing forward for establishing the groundwork for a tourism industry that is customer-centric and encourages association among tourism industry players. The tourism body is encouraging smart tourism that makes use of customer behavior data for improving and supporting sustainable tourism products.

Besides, Ko Mak in Trat Province is being upheld as the first low-carbon tourist destination in Thailand. Alliance through links among stakeholders both inside and outside the industry is being promoted for creating a tourism business ecosystem where all parties get common benefits.

The APEC CEO Summit delivers prospects for CEOs and top business officials to have discussions with APEC Leaders regarding the most pressing concerns of the day. It also provides great prospects for creating networks with appropriate business insights.
