Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra has directed government ministries to expedite Thailand’s high-speed rail and land bridge projects, emphasizing their importance in enhancing trade, reducing transportation costs, and improving regional logistics. Speaking on the special program Thailand’s Opportunity with Prime Minister Paetongtarn, she shared insights from her official visit to China, celebrating 50 years of Thai-Chinese diplomatic relations. The episode, broadcast on February 16, highlighted crucial agreements signed between Thailand and China.

From February 5-8, the prime minister met with top Chinese leaders, including:

• Chairman Zhao Leji

Holding talks with all three leaders in one visit was unprecedented, showcasing China’s strong commitment to strengthening economic and diplomatic ties with Thailand.
