The carnival of Putignano 2024 – Europe’s oldest festival

The well-known ‘Carnival of Putignano’ – here’s a snapshot of its schedule and
dates to follow – “Farinelite N630”, is the name of the Carnival of Putignano 2024
edition following a schedule of jampacked celebrations for two weeks starting
right from February 4th till 17th, provides a huge variety of exciting events for
everyone like, games for children, concerts and not to forget, brilliant
processions of masks and Carnival floats. Last year, several attendees took part
in this event and this year, expectation is high.
Unravel the enchanting magic of the 630th Carnival of Putignano all set to be

On February 4 th , 2024
 H 6:30 pm, Opening Party followed by First masked parade – Corso
Umberto I°
On February 9 th , 2024
 Married women Thursday, parade and N’de Josr where live music followed
by good food will be available
On February 11 th , 2024
 H 11 am Second masked parade – Corso Umberto I°
On February 16th, 2024
 Married men Thursday, parade followed by Horns cutting off ceremony,
an old tradition of this Carnival.
On February 13 th , 2024
 H 3:30 pm, one can take part in the Greatest Show followed by Third
masked parade – Corso Umberto I°
On February 20 th , 2024
 Last rites
On February 17 th , 2024

 H 6:30 pm, Shrove Tuesday where people can enjoy Fourth masked parade
Follows the ceremonial traditions of the Campana dei Maccheroni
