The deputy tourism ministers of China & Iran meet face-to-face

Iran’s deputy tourism minister, Mr. Ali Darabi, and China’s Vice Minister for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Li Qun, on Monday, had met in Beijing face-to-face.


Ways to spread out tourism and cultural heritage relations between Iran and China were talked in the meeting, IRNA reported.


Iranian-Chinese relationship has a long past, which was considered to be developed with the help of Silk Road and it has remained steady to this day, Darabi said.


As interactions and collaboration related to tourism between the two countries have increased, many simultaneous work areas will be benefited as well, he mentioned.


Li for his part said that between Iran and China, there should be huge amount of cooperation as both the countries have ancient and historical civilizations to brag about.


The willingness of Islamic Republic to arrange a show of the objects of Chinese museum in Iran is also respected, as such events can improve cultural international relations, he mentioned.


Iran’s deputy tourism minister, last week, Ali-Asghar Shalbafian, declared that Iran and China’s tourism relations are to be fortified and aided by both countries’ governments.


Besides their several similarities, Iran and China people have an ancient history of relations of 2500 years, he said.


They have been in contact from the olden times, as the Silk Road has acted as a sign of collaboration between the two countries.
