The Keelung City Government to take part in Tourism Expo Japan

The Keelung City Government, in its continuing initiations to take engagement on a deeper level in the Japanese tourism market and attract more Japanese travelers to Keelung, will be taking part in the extremely impressive "Tourism Expo Japan" event, kick-starting from October 26 th and continue till Oct 29 th , 2023. It will be hosted at Intex Osaka Hall 3.

The Keelung City Government will create a booth to introduce the charming scenery, food and rich culture of Keelung to the Japanese people. The main goal of Keelung is to make this Taiwanese provincial city a new choice for all visitors coming from Japan to explore Taiwan. Besides, there will be interactive gaming session and on the site scanning. There participants will get the chance to receive practical and loveable wood pulp cotton souvenirs representing Keelung’s delicious local cuisine. At the travel expo, the city government inspires every single visitor to visit their booth and participate in the activities.

The Keelung city government, in recent years, has been encouraging tourism to the Japan market in an active manner, expecting to introduce Keelung, a mountainous harbor city with Asia’s best cruise ship homeport, to the Japanese people and let them see the rich resources of tourism and marvelous natural wonders like the Waimushan Seaside Scenic Area and other attractions.
