From the Mondragó Natural Park to the untouched beach of Es Trenc, Migjorn’s countryside and bohemian expanses is the ideal place to unwind at the same time taking in the dramatic views of Mallorca.


Situated in the south of the island, the municipality of Migjorn together with the picturesque inland towns with a gorgeous shoreline is quite famous among the locals as well as the visitors. Migjorn is one of Mallorca’s driest areas has ecosystem that has archetypal vegetation of the Mediterranean type, white sandy beaches, cliffs, sand dunes and small coves.


The capital town of Llucmajor of Migjorn is the largest municipality in Mallorca. It has a shoreline extending more than 47 kms, the region is the best place in terms of diving, sailing, or calming down on its white sandy beaches. Its landscape has almond fields with lots of fig trees. The area provides several experiences related to culture and history, outstanding architecture and opportunities to explore the wineries.


Also, Migjorn is known for its quarries where the valuable “Santanyí stone” comes from, providing the buildings of the local region and their characteristic gold colour. The Cathedral of Mallorca or the Bellver Castle is the best example, not to mention the houses and farms of the region.


Migjorn comprises five districts like Felanitx, Campos, Llucmajor, Ses Salinas and Santanyí, well-known for their abundant grounds and farms, producing milk to make the most renowned cheeses of the island.
