The opening of the 4th Tourism Working Group Meeting organized

On Tuesday morning, the inaugural conference of the 4th Tourism Working Group Meeting was organized under G20 by the Ministry of Tourism. It was held at Goa. While addressing his inaugural speech, G.K Reddy, the Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and DoNER, said that a visit to India would
remain unfinished if someone doesn’t experience the charm, vastness and opulence of their spiritual potency and variety of places that the country has to offer.


He also stated that they have over 50 Shakti Peethas where the divinity of women is adored. Sikhism was born in India and the Sikh Golden Temple, in Amritsar is a symbol of brotherhood and equality.


While sharing thoughts on the occasion, the Minister of State for Tourism, Shripad Yesso Naik, said that Goa is the best place in terms of vacationing and is a vibrant kaleidoscope of various things to see and indulge. It has a scenery that’s tranquil and amazing, beaches lined with palm trees, golden sands, verdant countryside, an wonderful mosaic of magnificent history of this land, and a exclusive combination of east and west cultures.


Also, Naik stated that the strong infrastructure of tourism along the coastal line and mixed with positive weather help in promoting adventure tourism in the country as is apparent in the rising attractiveness of the segment amongst international and local tourists.
