The UNWTO and AIM signs MoU

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), which is the dedicated agency of the United Nations for tourism growth, and the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for strengthening their partnershipregarding common benefits in tourism-related funds.


The two parties will work in unison to exploit the complete power of tourism for boosting worldwidegrowth and to speed up the execution of the plan 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS).


The UNWTO and AIM, with the help of this new agreement, have officiallydedicated to mutuallyback the following goals: the activeapplication of the agenda 2030 and the 17 SDGs with the help of tourism investments, along with advertising of invention and technology.


The UNWTO and AIM’s cooperative works connected to investment enablement and advertisingwill have them share and distribute knowledge concerning investment rules among their stakeholders and linkages and make the most of foreign direct investments’ constructivefinancialeffect on tourism.


The UNWTO is the foremostglobal organization in the domain of tourism. It upholds tourism as a driver of financial growth, comprehensive development and ecological sustainability and has the objective of propellingthe digitalization of tourism and creatinginvention and entrepreneurship network. The UNWTO offersguidance and support to the tourism division in progressing knowledge and tourism strategiesuniversally.


AIM offers apriceless and incomparablechanceto the public and private bodies to gather to realize their mutualidea of evolution and sustainability.
