One of Europe’s standout lesser-known destinations is Tivat, a charming town on Montenegro’s coast. According to KAYAK, Tivat has seen a 74 percent increase in flight searches from 2023 to 2024, as travelers recognize it as a budget-friendly alternative to Croatia. In Tivat, visitors can embark on a speedboat tour to the nearby Blue Cave, where they can swim in the clear, turquoise waters and spot dolphins.

Another quiet European destination that KAYAK recommends is Béziers, a picturesque town in France. Often referred to as one of the country’s best “hidden gems,” Béziers offers rich history and culture at a fraction of the cost of more popular French destinations. Flights to Béziers typically cost around £204, making it about £50 cheaper than other French tourist spots. One of the city’s most distinctive landmarks is the Cathédrale Saint-Nazaire de Béziers, a grand Gothic church dating back to 1209.
